Salton Sea
My favorite place to shoot at the Salton Sea.
We went last month, but I wanted to return again, asap. This time it was with OC Leo and Jim Rossier, and fortunately it wasn't 105˚ this time. We spent our morning here, then worked our way back out, hitting Salvation Mountain and Bombay Beach. I shot almost exclusively with the 14-24 the entire day, and only pulled out the 70-200 VRll for a few minutes, at the very, very end.
Next time I go, I might try using only one prime.
Just me, the D700 and a 28mm f/2.8 AIS...
